Hansen Windows
HansenMillennium® offers unique solutions with the world's thinnest aluminum profiles for any type of building.
Discover our exclusive door system with extremely slim profiles.
The window profile is only 28.5 mm (1 ⅛'') thin.
Look at the difference: typical window (left) vs. Hansen window (right).
Window design with respect for the past
In the early 1900s, windows, doors and facades were often made of narrow steel profiles, and this architecture is still present in many parts of Northern Europe.
As architecture changes and standards improve due to technological developments, better window, door and facade systems are required.
Older steel windows do not have thermal break insulation, resulting in large amounts of energy loss and condensation.
With respect for the past and the existing architecture, HansenGroup has developed a profile system that not only retains the narrow profiles and maximises light penetration, but also meets the most stringent requirements for U-values, both now and in the future.
The profile design was created in close cooperation with leading architects, and respect for the past is the common thread that ensures a high and attractive aesthetic appearance for the entire system.
HansenMillennium windows and doors are therefore particularly suitable for renovation projects, for example in connection with the energy optimisation of older buildings with large window sections, where steel windows in industrial halls or stable windows with transoms and arches need to be replaced.
HansenMillennium® is ideal for constructing semi-circular and round window areas
HansenMillennium® is available as
- Windows
- Smaller facades (non-curtain walls)
- Extremely slim profiles
- Possibility of two-coloring with difference between interior and exterior color
- Maximized daylight and g-value
- Adjustable, concealed swivel brackets replace visible ventilation grills in the window sill, and maintain the thermal and acoustic insulation
- System with hidden drawbars allows larger spans in facades
- Integrated thermal brake
- Hidden drains
- Hidden openings
- Glass glued from the factory
The system can be used for single, double, and triple glazing up to 61 mm (2 ⅓") thick.
Standard tilt-and-turn sashes up to 2 m² and 100 kg (21.5 ft² and 220 lbs) up to 3 m² and 150 kg (32 ft² and 330 lbs) under special conditions.
Integrated ventilations and hardware are available concealed, but also visibly.
When minimal environmental impact is required, Hansen can supply the aluminum profiles made from special aluminum manufactured with renewable energy. This reduces the profile's impact by more than 75% compared to standard aluminum
Construction
The static properties of the profiles are optimized, as the construction of the aluminum profiles and the thermal separation contribute to their strength
Design
Maximale Abmessungen des Flügels: B bis 1725 mm, H bis 2800 mm (B 5'8" und H 9'2").
Profile
Maximum dimensions of the sash: Width up to 1725 mm, Height up to 2800 mm (Width 5'8" and Height 9'2")
Insulating zone
The profiles are energy optimized with a specially designes thermal break between the aluminium profiles. This breaks the cold bridge throughout the entire length of the profiles.
Variants
